Manufacture and assembly of stair railings for indoor stairs. The stair railing has been manufactured and assembled by our blacksmiths. It meets current safety requirements.
The stair railing has been manufactured with the following details:
Railing posts 4 pcs 30x30mm
Overhang and underhang 40x10mm flat iron
Stand 8 mm round bar, largest opening 100 mm, childproof according to BBR
The stair railing is L-shaped from the wall on the upper floor and halfway down the stairs.
The wrought iron railing is powder coated in white according to the customer's wishes.

Manufacture and assembly of two pieces supervisor in oak with associated attachments to an entrance staircase to a tenant-owner association in Stockholm's inner city.
Length 2400 mm / side.
The supervisor is made of untreated oak with a profile according to the model in the stairwell. The attachments are similar to existing attachments with the addition of 2 uprights / side that are attached to the floor.
The steel is black lacquered for indoor use.

This fine aluminum railing for Nockeby Hus has been done by our skilled blacksmiths from start to finish! It is made of square tubes in different dimensions in our forging workshop in Bromma. We have cut and welded the pipes together into an exclusive one ALU-railing. Then the railing has been mounted in place.
An advantage of an aluminum railing is that it requires almost no maintenance. It does not rust and can withstand harsh weather conditions.

On Saturday, it felt as if half of Stockholm took a walk around Djurgården. Personally, I not only enjoyed the sun but also the nice corten facade when I passed the restaurant Aira on Biskoppsudden. A year ago, we completed the work for the star restaurant, where we not only made the corten steel façade but also a larger canopy at the entrance. Inside the restaurant, we also made interiors designed by the interior designer and designer Jonas Bohlin. I hope I will enjoy it and good food when the restaurant hopefully opens again soon. Svenska Brassierier is behind the restaurant, which will be run by the top chef Tommy Myllymäkis.
Corten steel
Corten steel is beautiful and requires minimal maintenance. It gives a natural and rustic feeling. Over time, it acquires a rusty and beautiful color. It is a slow-rusting and weather-resistant steel that was developed in the United States in the early 20th century. Initially, it was mainly used for stoves and chimneys. Today, corten is very popular. It is used in a variety of areas that require a maintenance-free and rusty surface that is sufficiently resistant that the steel does not rust. Everything from house facades to edge steel, artwork, amination nets, containers and pots.
The steel initially has a gray tint. Over time, it undergoes a unique color shift to a warm reddish brown color. The surface layer rusts (oxidizes) depending on climate changes and how long the steel is exposed to weather and wind. After a while, an even and dense rust coating (oxide layer) forms on the steel surface which slows moisture from further penetrating and thus causing further impact. The steel also stops precipitating rust. Corten steel rusts more slowly than ordinary steel.
How long does the cort last? It is not possible to give a direct answer to that question, but it depends entirely on weather, wind and other conditions. There is information that it lasts for 100 years under the right conditions in the thickness of 3 mm and up. In any case, it has a long service life and is maintenance-free for many years to come! A good environmental choice!
