The steel stairs NOD - a favorite!

One of our favorites in the collection of projects to remember is the custom ones the steel stairs to the meeting place neighborhood NODE and Kista. What distinguishes these stairs is that they have railings in untreated sheet metal. We made the stairs in our forging workshop which was completed on site by our blacksmiths. Lundgrens made four straight stairs in two levels that were completed in 2015.

Pergola and forging

Description: A while ago we made a pergola in forge to the courtyard in the newly produced residential area On Track at Älvsjö station. The courtyard is intended as a modern activity yard with, among other things, a running track and outdoor gym. The pergolas are therefore well in place to divide the courtyard in a stylish way. We made 7 pergolas that are 12 meters long and 2.5 meters high in our forging workshop. Our blacksmiths also mounted the pergola on site.

Climbing plants will eventually spread across the pergola. We also made the discount edges in corten plate. They are used to delimit the flowerbed from the lawn, the gravel and the tiling. A smart solution that provides a stylish and easy-care discount. Over time, the cortex rusts and acquires a lovely reddish-brown color.

In the project, Lundgren Smide also did sound walls in glass, flower boxes and stair railings.

Sunshades & canopies in perforated sheet metal

Specially adapted external sunshades in perforated aluminum sheet for a preschool in Bandhagen. 34 sunshades and a canopy. A nice and effective way to shield from the sun to get a comfortable indoor temperature without shutting out the light for the children. The pastel green plates create a unique façade feeling. There are three exteriors on site stairs in the same style of which two spiral stairs and a straight staircase with railing. Inside the preschool, Lundgrens has made tutors for a staircase with associated railings in perforated plates. The supervisors are made of stainless steel.

Perforated plates (perforated plate) can be used for a lot. Railings, facades, interiors, etc. They are available in different patterns, dimensions and materials.

Glass walls Mr Cake

Decorating with glass walls or glass room dividers is both trendy and functional. Industrial-designed glass walls are popular. A glass wall is a practical way to delimit a room and at the same time retain the light. Lundgrens Smide specializes in custom-made, high-quality glass sections. We make industry-inspired glass walls in steel and glass. 

The glass walls for Mr Cake at the Stockholm School of Architecture are both stylish and stylish. They are made to measure and adapted to the customer's needs and wishes. They are built in steel in industrial design. The glass walls are made of flat iron and square tubes. They were painted in matte black before we installed them on site. During installation, we attached the glass sections to the ceiling, inserted the tempered glass into the steel frames and put covering strips.

Mr Cake has really managed to create a warm and comfortable home feeling where you can enjoy good pastries!

How do I order a glass wall? You are welcome to contact us for further discussion and price proposals. Prices vary depending on what type of ice cream wall you want. You can have the glass frames painted in the color you want. It usually takes about four weeks from order to delivery.

Vallastaden - a work by Eva Beierheimer

The Austrian artist Eva Beierhiemer has created the artistic design based on Vallastaden's basic idea of variation. Vallastaden is a new residential area in Linköping. Lundgren manufactured the frames and installed the water-cut mirror-polished sheet metal in the frames. We also performed the assembly on site.
